Christmas Wrap-Up

Here it is the 29th of December...Christmas has come and gone. After all my worries, ours ended up being a good Christmas after all (thanks to some Christmas miracles that came our way) The kids enjoyed everything they received.

Logan's favorite by far has been the "monster truck" that my grandmother got him. It's remote controlled and he figured that sucker right out....and has since gone through lots of batteries. =)

Sammy hates the monster truck....he runs screaming whenever it moves....it's really kind of funny mean when his brother chases him with it. Sammy received this little truck with farm animals and the thing sings this same song over and over....there is NO off switch and that makes Momma very sad. =(

Allison was pleasantly surprised at receiving a gameboy advance (yeah we couldn't afford the expensive DSi) and games.....she really didn't think she would get a video game but thanks to Santa's bargain hunting she got one!

Megan received a cell phone just like Mom and Dads (it has unlimited texting so now she doesn't have to worry about going over her minutes). She was REALLY surprised because I had told her that she wouldn't be getting it because I hadn't been able to find it on sale anywhere (and I refuse to pay full price because I am cheap frugal like that). But, again, thanks to Santa's bargain hunting we had success and surprised that child.

All in all it was a good Christmas....I am sad to see it go and really looking forward to 2011....I am hoping things will continue to look up for us.
