A White Christmas

Being from North Carolina and living here just about my entire life, an accumulation of snow is pretty rare....and a white Christmas is just about unheard of.

Well this Christmas we were teased most of the day by a sleet/snow mix and then nothing....then about 6pm Christmas night the snow started falling....an hour later the ground was covered. When we went to bed that night we had about two inches.....and then the next morning this is what we found...

This was the view from our back porch....A very beautiful snowfall.

I had to go to work later that day so this is the only picture I took.
